In the 1990s, the Frankfurt writer ZACK was very present on trains in the Rhine-Main region under various pseudonyms. He played a major role in shaping the golden years of the metropolis' train industry – a time when almost every commuter train was covered in graffiti and colorful panels, and entire carriages were often in operation for months. In Book of ZACK, he gives a glimpse into his career on steel at the time, and there are also new wall work on display since his comeback in 2018. Many of his images are accompanied by texts on relevant events and allow the reader to share his memories. The book concludes with further guest contributions from some of his companions at the time.
